when living in a 100-year old house
one must expect
to share the space
with various creepies & critters
i knew we had spiders
in fact
we have two that we leave
undisturbed
in the stairwell leading
to the basement
we don't bother them
they don't bother us
they eat bugs
it's all good
but i don't think
i'll ever get used
to a sight
such as this
and no,
i didn't kill it
i scooped it with a tissue
and dropped it outside
which may effectively
have killed it :-(
